I have not posted in this blog for over a year!
Last post was talking about a new kitten.
Haze Gray (Hazy) has been a great addition to our household.
She is companion,
battlepal,
running mate,
cuddlemate
to Artemisia (Artee)
and all around curious cat and we love her.

Artee is the calico, Hazy is the gray.

It is fun to post these sp's. I am going to try to get back to doing that and
posting a good artist's quote along with.

Here is a question for anyone reading this blog ... do you make self-portraits?

Thanks for looking in!

Oh my ... we have adopted a new kitten, we hope,
and it has been taking up lots of our time.
Our established cat doesn't think much of the little guy,
but there have been signs that indicate they might get along one day.

But anyway, continuing on with the self-portraits:

This was sketched the same day as the previous post.
Twas quite some time ago.
I like it.

Thanks for checking in.
Happy sketching and painting!

As artists, we try to paint what we see,
rather than what we think we see.

The more you put yourself out there,
the more there is for people to take exception with.

ps -  happy b'day, me

(This was not s'posed to be stored as a draft for this long ... however, I fell off the blog train and haven't blogged anywhere for a very long time ... I think it was because my computer died - added this note on Jan 10, 2017.)

Whether we view it for pleasure or create as artists,
art can serve us in so many ways.
